A blog to the world who might see a fraction of the joys and challenges of raising a miracle baby! Carter was born with Congenital Hydrocephalus & Macrocephaly in November 2007. He was also diagnosed with Cortical Vision Impairment and Hearing Impairment. Doctors said there was little hope for a full life...well we'd like to show the world what a full life looks like! We have triumphed over many obstacles, yet have many more to face. This is our story.

My Little Turtle!
Jordan is a hill-billy and Carter is a Turtle.
Carter's came with a cute little turtle hat but...it didn't fit. :(
Look what Carter was busted doing to the trick or treat candy
How cute and coincidental that your baby with Hydrocephalus was a turtle. Our little girl with Hydrocephalus was the tortoise from the Tortoise and the Hare. Since she is a twin we thought it was only appropriate because while things may be more difficult for her "slow and steady wins the race". She was the Tortoise, her sister was the Hare and my husband and I were runners in the race.
Thank you for all you do to raise awareness for this condition. I wish I was that brave.
